The coastal fishing village of Caminha is about a 5 minute drive. Here you will find a great selection of shops, restaurants and a long sandy beach (Praia do Moledo). Delightful 15th and 16th century buildings can be found within the ancient fortress town, situated opposite Spain at the mouth of the enchanting River Minho.
It’s about a twenty minute drive to Ponte da Lima Golf Course (18 hole; Par 71; 6,005 mtr course), twenty minute drive to Estela Golf Course (18 hole; Par 72, 6,300 mtr course), and Oporto courses; plus a couple in Northern Spain. Its close proximity to the Serra Peneda National Park makes it an ideal base for Artists, Walkers, Bird watchers etc.
